Graham Hadidian
Hailing from Carpinteria, California, Graham grew up in the waters and hills of Santa Barbara County. A life-long surfer, runner and biker, physical activities had always been the mode by which Graham enriched his life. Unfortunately, due to an accident in 2001 in which Graham fell from a two-story height, he found himself incapacitated and unable to partake in the activities that had given him so much pleasure and happiness. The next year was plagued by an inability to develop lower back muscle, by chronic back pain, and by depression.

In 2002, Graham was taken to his first asana-based yoga class. The results were immediate. The lower back pain subsided and with the help of Channel Islands Chiropractic, the healing commenced. Graham’s exploration of his asana practice began.

In 2008, Graham moved to the San Diego area. Having more access to studios sparked a renewed interest in asana and his periodic practice evolved into a daily one. Under the guidance of North County based instructors, his experiences of the physiological and physiological benefits of the Yogic Practices developed and expanded. With the encouragement of the community of teachers Graham began to teach public classes in 2011.

Over the years, with avid study of the effects of Yoga on his body and psyche, Graham has developed a unique style of teaching and philosophy of practice that integrates his experiences and wisdom into classes that are physically challenging and therapeutically-oriented. His classes are a journey through which one is given the opportunity to go inside, to clear and develop the mind, heart and body, for the purpose of revealing the peace in one’s own inner landscape.

Tammy Fodrey
California native Tammy Fodrey is a dedicated yoga teacher in the North County area of San Diego. She was initially drawn to yoga in 2006 while training for her first marathon. A natural athlete, Tammy quickly realized that a regular yoga practice was the key to training smarter, assisting greatly in strength training and recovery.

After discovering the physical benefits, she began incorporating yoga into her daily life. Developing this consciousness of the mind, body and soul through yoga not only deepened her love for the practice, it motivated her to take the steps toward becoming a teacher. Since obtaining state and national certification with Yoga Alliance, Tammy has been teaching dynamic vinyasa flow classes that incorporate her knowledge of the Ashtanga yoga path.

Her classes are an excellent combination of strength and flexibility training, with a strong focus on breathing techniques, alignment, and mind/body awareness. Using traditional poses and creative sequencing, Tammy integrates the balance of effort and surrender seamlessly into her classes. Her demonstration and presentation of yoga asana and philosophy is clear and direct, her demeanor unfailingly calm and supportive. She is an energetic, attentive and interactive teacher who provides both verbal and hands on feedback.
Suitable for a variety of levels, her classes provide ample challenge to the more experienced student, but are easily modified for the beginner or any student seeking a more gentle practice.
