Rachel Cieslewicz
Rachel’s yoga journey started young, at the age of five. She dedicated herself as a student of yoga at the age of 18, while attending the University of Utah. Rachel’s main path is Ashtanga yoga. Her guru is Manju Jois. Other insightful yoga teachers are Sondra Fraleigh, Jeff Silverstein, Stephen Brown, Peter Francyk, and Dan’a Baptiste.

Rachel continuously inspires others to learn what it truly means to live a fulfilling life of joy. Her greatest gift is her son Canyon, he inspires her own deepest love and strength. Her lyrical and purposeful classes carry the intention for others to find their own inner beauty and strength, and to connect with their infinite potential. Her students develop the courage and love, on and off the mat, to manifest their dreams and live a beautiful life. This is all while becoming healthy and strong in body, mind and soul.

Rachel is registered with the Yoga Alliance as a 500-hour E-RYT. She holds a B.S. in exercise sport science from the University of Utah. She integrates yogic philosophy into her other life passions as an elite runner, cyclist and endurance coach. She is a certified Pilates instructor and licensed massage therapist.

Eric Martin
Eric is an exemplary example of a highly-successful businessman living a balanced yogic lifestyle. He holds a B.S. in computer science, with an MBA in business finance and administration. He has spent almost 25 years assisting the turn-around of distressed businesses in many industries. His current role is CIO of a company based in Manhattan with dozens of offices throughout the United States and Canada as his full time job. In his off hours, Eric coaches clients for running and cycling, and assists his loving wife, Rachel, managing Yoga Soul in St. George, Utah. This highlights the truth that it is possible to have a family, run a business, and be a huge asset working an executive role with great health and inspiration due to his healthy lifestyle.

How did Eric find yoga? The truth is, yoga found him and restored his health after 2 separate motorcycle accidents, which left him in severe and chronic pain for 15 years. In 2000, after much searching he ended up in a yoga class in a gym. After a few weeks of attending gym yoga, he found his pain began to subside slightly. But he felt there was more than could be offered in a gym. Thus began a search for a deeper practice. Eric traveled extensively for work. He began seeking yoga studios at each city he visited for work. He was exposed to a plethora of styles and teachers.

In 2003, Eric met Manju Jois on one of his many business trips to New York. Eric was changed by Manju’s powerful and authentic teaching ability. His residual back pain disappeared with Manju as his teacher. Eric has since dedicated himself to training under him. Manju is the pure lineage of Ashtanga since his father Pattabhi Jois passed away several years ago. He teaches a simple, profound practice that sets Eric and anyone whom dedicates to learning under him apart from all who teach an incomplete yoga style. Eric teaches yoga with the spirit of Manju in his heart. He stays close to his Ashtanga roots with perfect adjustments and a humble, yet empowering voice. The opportunity to experience Eric as your teacher is an experience to seek.
