This 7-night, 8-day yoga retreat on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, just north of Cabo San Lucas, includes everything we LOVE about the southern tip of the Baja peninsula! Anna Haddad, Founder of ONEYOGAHOUSE, a New York-based yoga studio, returns to Prana del Mar for her fifth retreat with us, offering twice daily 75-90 minute yoga classes and workshops.

 

Classes will incorporate the following:

  • Vinyasa Flow: A dynamic Vinyasa flow experience that is intentional, fun, and guided by the rhythm of the breath. Expect breath work, joint work, mobility-based warmups leading to lots of movement with a focus on alignment and functional exercises towards gaining optimal movement patterns leading to peak postures.
  • Yin + Restorative Yoga: This deeply restorative practice incorporates props to support you in passively held postures for a sustained period of time. You will be guided into postures that help to lengthen connective tissue and fascia throughout the body to enhance range of motion in joints and regulate the nervous system. Benefits include deep relaxation, and improved sleep and digestion to support emotional and muscle recovery.
  • Meditation: Seated guided techniques that will help strengthen energy channels with a focus on pranayama.
  • Yoga Nidra: Also known as psychic sleeping, yoga nidra is a guided meditation practice that allows the body to experience a sleep-like state while the mind remains alert and awake. This state of consciousness is known for its restful, rejuvenating, and stress-relieving qualities to achieve incredible calm, quiet, and clarity. Suitable for all levels.
  • Foundational Workshops: A great place to reset your yoga journey, by breaking down the fundamentals of yoga and the key asanas (postures) of the vinyasa yoga practice. Designed for both beginners of yoga as well as practitioners who have knowledge of the practice but would like to gain additional tools and insights to renew, reassess, and strengthen their foundation towards more advanced postures and inversions.

 

This yoga retreat includes:

  • Luxurious accommodations for 7-nights and 8-days at this deluxe, eco-friendly resort featuring ocean, mountain, and garden views
  • Three delicious, healthy meals each day – with seafood options several times per week and alternatives for those with dietary restrictions
  • Twice daily yoga immersions
  • Full use of all resort amenities – including the salt water swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, meditation labyrinth, desert gardens, hammocks, and more
  • Free time with options to go horseback riding, hiking, surfing, lounging at the pool, soaking in the hot tub, whale watching, watching sunsets, and star gazing

Anna Haddad
Anna Haddad is a yoga teacher, entrepreneur, and the Founder + CEO of ONEYOGAHOUSE, a New York-based yoga studio with locations in Brooklyn and Pop Ups in Montauk. She has been a student of yoga since 2000, when she found the practice as a complement to her taekwon-do training. Yoga quickly became the one thing in her life that allowed her to tune in instead of out: at the time, she was working a demanding job in finance. Led by her intuition to open her heart and awareness, she left her job on Wall Street and completed her 200-hour teacher training at Pure Yoga in 2012.

 

Always drawn to entrepreneurship, Anna co-founded a grassroots athleisure company in 2014, followed by a yoga studio in Montauk in 2017. Now, her vision for ONEYOGAHOUSE (in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn) is to create a business rooted in community, creativity, and connectivity, and to leave a lasting and positive impact on people’s lives. She is passionate about giving back: she loves connecting with students, community-based organizations, and female-owned businesses. She aims to make yoga accessible and a lifelong practice for everyone in the ONEYOGAHOUSE community.

 

Anna has completed over 1000 hours of teacher trainings and mentorships with Maya Yoga, Woom Center, Yoga Vida, Lyt, Om Chandra, and Pure Yoga, and continues her studies and trainings in functional anatomy and meditation.

 

Anna’s Vinyasa classes are thoughtfully sequenced to gently open the body in preparation for peak postures and meditation. She teaches an alignment-focused practice that is intentional and grounding. Through her own practice she has discovered a calm, resilient, and conscious state of mind that is still and compassionate, and she is inspired to guide others to the same place in her teaching. Anna leads yoga retreats around the world, combining her love for travel with teaching movement and meditation, all while helping others realize their goals. She also teaches virtual corporate yoga retreats and private sessions.
