Winter Yoga Wellness Retreat in Los Cabos
Baja, Mexico
w/ Shannon McCall
February 1 – 8, 2025
We are thrilled to be returning to the gorgeous Prana del Mar for our fourth and final year. Join us for a purifying and rejuvenating yoga and meditation retreat in beautiful Baja, Mexico.
February is a fantastic time to be in Baja, California Sur. The weather is warm but not hot. The whales are migrating down the Pacific coast, and the desert light and space is truly magical.
Our retreat will begin with arrival on Saturday, Feb. 1st. You and your fellow travelers will be picked up and transported to the lovely Prana del Mar resort. Your luggage will be taken to your room, and you’ll be treated to a delicious drink and small plate while you take in the sights and sounds on the covered restaurant deck, with views of the sea.
The following morning, Sunday, and through Friday, we’ll meet for 2 -3 sessions a day of active and restorative asana, pranayama, meditation, self-inquiry and Ayurveda teachings. Our group often takes a trip together to a swimming and surf beach a short drive away.
Those who wish to deepen their retreat may choose to stay put on the beautiful, serene property, enjoying walks on the private beach, time sitting by the ocean, or swimming in the salt water pool.
A large hot tub and a dry sauna are available 24/7. Though we recommend taking a break as much as possible from internet, there is a pretty good signal available from various parts of the center.
For those who want to enjoy some activities beyond the retreat, Prana del Mar offers many options from horseback riding on the beach, to a visit to the local surfing/swimming beach, to whale watching and more. Massage and other spa treatments are also available. You’ll be able to arrange for any of these extra excursions or services when you arrive at Prana del Mar.
There are neighboring horses, donkeys and goats that wander by daily. Whales are often swimming daily right out in front of the center. The presence of the Desert and all of her flora and fauna are a magical part of time at the center.
The food at Prana del Mar is lovingly prepared and includes a wide variety of fresh vegetables, cooked to perfection, freshly made soups, Fish, eggs and dairy are served. Gluten- and dairy-free options are available. Fresh fruit waters and purified drinking water is plentifully available.
Departure Day, Saturday, Feb 8th, we’ll meet for our morning session and a final meal together, before transport will be arrive to take folks back to the airport in groups arranged by their departure times.
