Winter Yoga & Meditation Retreat in Los Cabos

Baja, Mexico
w/ Shannon McCall & David Seborer
February 3 – 10, 2024

Join us for a renewing yoga and meditation retreat in beautiful South Baja, Mexico. February is a fantastic time to recharge on a warm beach—to regenerate through sun, sea, fresh air and good company.

Our retreat will include three sessions each day—appropriate for students of all levels with one year + of experience, and no major injuries. Practices to include active and yin style asana, deep relaxation, breath and meditation, self-massage and self-inquiry. We’ll offer optional silent meditation, most evenings, after dinner.

Those who wish to deepen their retreat may choose to stay put on the beautiful, serene property, enjoying beach walks on the mostly deserted beaches, and the sweet presence of the horses, donkeys and goats next door and the whales in the ocean in front of the center. There is a lovely salt water pool, large hot tub and sauna to enjoy 24/7.

For those who want to explore and enjoy some activities, Prana del Mar offers many options from horseback riding on the beach, to a visit to the local surfing/ swimming beach, to whale watching and snorkeling. There will be an option for us to take a group trip to Cerritos Beach for swimming/ surfing during our week together.

Massage and other spa services are available for an additional fee.

David Seborer
David Seborer has been practicing yoga and meditation for over forty years and teaching since 2000. He’s a massage therapist and long time Tai Chi practitioner.

He has a deep fascination with understanding how trauma is held in the body and how to resolve it. He’s found yoga to be a wonderful practice for discovering and healing trauma, allowing life to be more and more enjoyable. His style of teaching is meditative and functional. He believes that when we have a felt sense of our embodiment, we can access our intuitive understanding of how to heal, maintain or regain physical, psychic, mental, and spiritual well-being.

He currently lives on Vashon Island with his partner, where he’s enjoying getting back to the land, connecting with the Earth, and learning how to homestead.
