Breathwork Facilitator Training

Level 2 | Facilitation Practicum & Deepening Skills
w/ Tai Hubbert
Baja, Mexico
March 19 – 26, 2022

Breathwork is one of the most powerful modalities for deep healing, and to facilitate breathwork is to help alleviate suffering and re-ignite the soul and radiance of humanity, one heart at a time. To bear witness to the sacred terrain of another is a profound honor, and the role of a guide calls for utmost awareness, skillful and attuned relating, compassion, and sincere commitment to being of service.

The Sword & Lotus Breathwork Facilitator training is a comprehensive program for mature practitioners seeking to facilitate breathwork sessions for their clients and community. The program curriculum includes:

  • The Landscape of Conscious Breathing and Approaches to Breathwork
  • Anatomy: Respiratory, Nervous System, and Subtle Body
  • The Stress Response & Nervous System Regulation
  • Facilitation Techniques: Verbal, Energetic, and Hands-On
  • Trauma Awareness & Holding Safer Space
  • Guiding Somatic and Expanded State Healing Experiences
  • Format Considerations: Private Sessions & Groups, Online & In-Person
  • Liability and Ethics: The Role of a Guide

Building from the foundation of the Level One online training, Level Two is a residential, experiential journey of facilitation practicum. You will learn and practice facilitation techniques, including verbal cues and conscious language, energetic assessment and response, and hands-on and touch-based support. You will practice facilitating in different formats, including individual clients/partners and groups, and receive real-time consultation and feedback in assessment and response. In addition to daily breathwork sessions, the training will deepen your understanding of trauma and holding safer spaces, energetic hygiene and boundaries, integration support, format considerations, music curation, and business and liability considerations.

This Level Two Residential Training requires completion of the Sword & Lotus Level One Training (3-day online), or by instructor permission. Upcoming Level One dates are October 22-24, 2021, and February 11-13th, 2022.

Tai Hubbert
E-RYT & YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider)

As an experienced breathwork facilitator, yoga teacher, and integrative wellness practitioner, Tai supports the process of releasing burdens and embodied stories of the past so one can be more fully available to the gifts and possibilities of the present.

Tai has been a practitioner of yoga and meditation for 20 years and received teaching certification while in residence at the Himalayan Institute, studying under the direction of Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Dr. Rolf Sovik, Sheri Friedrichsen, and Sandra Anderson. She has studied extensively with Annie Carpenter in the SmartFlow yoga system, and has been strongly influenced by Tias Little, Donna Farhi, and Dr. Douglas Brooks. As a spiritual practitioner, her path has been supported by the teachings and mentorship of Adyashanti, Jeannie Zandie, and Thomas Hubl, as well as Hakomi psychotherapy. Tai has been guiding breathwork journeys for individuals and groups for a decade, creating strong and loving containers for deep therapeutic and transformational experiences.

Tai is honored to support the process of “homecoming” and offers integrated retreat experiences around the world, and advanced trainings, ceremonies, and weekly classes in Seattle. More information on her website.

“Tai is masterful at bringing people into space and holding a safe container for deep work.” — Brittany R.

“Tai’s Breathwork Facilitator Training was an expertly crafted week of study and practice in a beautiful and nurturing setting. The program not only gave me a deeper understanding of the body and the many ways in which we breathe but also provided hands-on practice alongside tools to create a safe and sacred space for others. I highly recommend this training for anyone curious about becoming a facilitator and for anyone seeking an opportunity for personal growth and healing with a wise and compassionate teacher at the helm.” — Jen S.

“Tai’s presence is calming and comfortable. Something about her just makes you feel like you are in good hands and I felt completely safe with her. The breathwork experience was everything she said it was going to be. Intense. Beautiful. Balancing. She is the real deal. Words can’t describe, but her gifts are special and my experience was profound.” — Julie H.
