Tenth Anniversary Yoga Retreat! A decade of Goddesses. Goddess Rising brings you a most transformational women’s yoga retreat at Prana del Mar an exclusive eco-resort located in the gorgeous Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. You’ll be guided to life-enriching experiences through dynamic vinyasa practices, afternoon workshops, incredibly delicious food, day trips to Todos Santos and Flora Farms and so much more. A rich, rich offering of activities await in this preserved eco environment with awe-inspiring architecture and natural surroundings of sacred ocean, mountain, desert, sky.

The Hero’s Journey is a pattern of narrative identified by the American scholar Joseph Campbell that appears in drama, storytelling, myth, religious ritual, and psychological development. It describes the typical adventure of the archetype known as The Hero, the person who goes out and achieves great deeds on behalf of the group, tribe, or civilization.

To celebrate a decade of yogini evolutions, in 2018 Goddess Rising borrows from the incomparable Joseph Campbell and infuses SHAKTI to the 12 stages, for a journey and story only a Heroine can tell.

Join us for a soul adventure you’ll never forget!

Maricarmen Wilson
Yoga found me as a young mother just past twenty in Southern California. What started as a personal tool for physical wellness quickly evolved to a personal tool for spiritual growth. I had no intention to teach yoga and this is where the Accidental Tourist comes into the story. More than that, I didn’t want to. My practice felt so very personal and teaching was so, well, not. But I yielded to Divine forces because they’re exactly that, Divine. So I tripped and stumbled a bit those early years of travel. I “visited” several methods, learned the language and terrain of the different lands, and discovered that with time, they all led home. All played an important role in my teaching maturation and all challenged me to be true, raise the bar, and be more radically myself. I built an altar to my heart and kept a steady fire burning for my purpose and commitment. A commitment that runs far and deep and pools at the feet of all Women.

This is IT. This is Inspired Shakti.
