Heather Gersh, Certified Yoga Teacher, Dailey Method Instructor, Fitness Freak
Heather has been involved in fitness and athletics for her whole life. She began playing team sports at a young age, and played competitively in soccer, track, and tennis. She’s participated in dance programs, gymnastics, kick boxing, and knows that moving your body is about more than the physical – it’s a form of self-expression and self-care.

In 2011, she became a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Soon after, she added barre workouts into her life and it wasn’t long before she started teaching barre classes at The Dailey Method, where she learned and embodied a deeper sense of alignment and muscular engagement. She learned how to not only manage her own injuries but those of her students, and has found that the ability to help and heal is powerful.

Heather is excited to bring her authenticity, her passion, her power and her love of soul-stirring music to this retreat! You can expect a heart pounding, mind-opening, mood-altering Core Fusion fun time!

Before becoming a full-time fitness teacher and mother, Heather worked in the the Film/TV and Theater industry for 15 years. She worked on numerous commercials, TV shows and documentary films.

She lives in Berkeley, CA with her two kids and husband.

Raissa Lerner, ERYT-200
Raissa is a passionate yogi, yoga teacher, nature lover, and student of personal growth. Raissa began practicing yoga in 1995 as a way to keep breathing as a busy working mom and environmental prosecutor. She received her 200-hour training from CorePower Yoga in 2011, and began teaching power vinyasa and restorative yoga in 2012. Raissa completed additional vinyasa and Bhakti yoga teacher trainings with Shiva Rea and Rusty Wells. Her classes focus on linking breath to movement to build strength and stamina with grace and ease, guiding students toward experiencing yoga as the unity of mind, body, spirit and breath.

As a former dancer and performing artist, Raissa brings intuitive knowledge of movement principles and alignment to her teaching to encourage students to cultivate a total body awareness in the practice of yoga. Raissa enjoys inspiring yogis of all backgrounds and abilities to discover their authentic power, presence and freedom of expression in the practice. Raissa teaches both public and private classes, retreats and special events. Off the mat, Raissa supports her three children to reach for the stars.
