Marni Sclaroff, MAT, ERYT 500
Marni is an artist, momma, and yoga teacher. She has a vast background that includes studies in Anusara Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Jivamukti, Tibetan Buddhism, Shamanism, Ayurveda, and Thai massage.

She lives in Northern Virginia, and she teaches classes that inspire people to wake up to the magic that is present in every moment of our lives. With detailed alignment cues, a supportive and playful atmosphere, and myths and stories woven into each practice; her classes are like guided tours into the shining magnificence of our human experience. Her students love the way that she shares the depth and wisdom of the teachings in accessible, creative and humorous ways. Her initiation into yoga occurred in 1996, after many years of searching for something that would help her to navigate her struggles with depression and eating disorders. Since then, she has experienced radical shifts in her life from her practice, which continues to inspire her every day. She devotes her entire life to deepening her understanding of yoga, and all of the ways in which it can serve to uplift and inspire our lives.

Marni has appeared on the cover of Yoga Journal Magazine, in the DVD, “Yoga for Back Care”, and you can read two of her poems in the book, “”The Poetry of Yoga, Vol. I””. Every day, Marni devotes herself to living a life of wakeful presence, inspired creativity, and authentic communication. You can read more about Marni by visiting her website.
