Alysha Bio:
Alysha Pfeiffer has been sharing her love of yoga through her teaching for over 10 years. She completed her first 200-hour Teacher Training Program at The White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. She returned to White Lotus the following year and completed their Advanced Teacher Training Program with Ganga White and Tracey Rich.

In 2008, Alysha completed the 200-hour Anusara Teacher Training Program with Naime Jezzeny and Sue Elkind. Most recently, she studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater. Some of her favorite teachers to study with and draw inspiration from include Seane Corn, Suzanne Sterling, Judith Lasater, Max Strom, Anodea Judith, Marianne Williamson, and Caroline Myss (just to name a few!).

Her teaching style is Vinyasa Flow with a focus on alignment. Restorative Postures and Yoga Nidra (guided, deep relaxation) are included at the end of almost every class. In her free time, Alysha enjoys hiking with her dog Sage, photography, dancing, listening to live music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Megan Bio:
After graduating from college with a degree in theater in 2006, Megan landed her first acting internship. Requirements for interns included weekly yoga. The very first class was life changing! Megan instantly immersed herself in the practice and completed her 200-hour RYT certification in 2008 and 500-hour RYT certification in 2013, both at the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem.

She went on to study with Seane Corn for several years, completing her Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training and additional Leadership Training programs, integrating yoga with activism. Megan recently completed Dig Yoga’s Prenatal Yoga teacher training with Sue Elkind and is very comfortable accommodating pregnant women in her weekly classes!

Megan enjoys several different styles of yoga and is dedicated to making yoga accessible to all. Her classes are dynamic and intuitive, with a strong emphasis on aligning the body appropriately. She provides clear and concise instructions, so that beginners learn how to practice yoga safely and mindfully. Above all, Megan believes that it is the connection to the breath that makes the practice transformative and is dedicated to offering frequent breathing workshops.

In 2009, Megan raised over $20,000 to support humanitarian projects in Uganda through the non-profit organization Off the Mat, Into the World. She traveled to Uganda for 3 weeks with the Off the Mat team to aid in the development of an eco-birth center, seven room school and sustainable gardens. Since returning from Africa, she continues to work with Off the Mat, serving as a Senior Leader and igniting interest about OTM through monthly Off the Mat Lehigh Valley meetings, which empower people to step into sustainable leadership roles in our community.

Megan is a co-teacher of the 200-hour In-Depth Yoga Study and Teacher Training Program at the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem, offers monthly breathing classes and is looking forward to teaching a pre/postnatal yoga series in October 2014.
